A Sweet Weekend

Books and coffee with my favorite little guy.

He wasn't too entirely sure about his drink, but the chocolate chip cookie was definitely a big hit.

Fun times with my sweet, sweet kiddos.

A completed project.

A little hair color (that turned out a little too not-quite-what-I-expected).

Quilted play mat complete, and I finished the top of Noah's triangle quilt.

The beginnings of a hex quilt.  Yikes!  What am I getting myself into??

The Sweet, Busy Weekend

He had no idea Noah was behind him...

Two out of four...not bad.

My sweet little buddy.

She just can't get enough music.

I can't get enough of her sweet cheeks.

Weekending

Robot building

"Noah, would you like to wear a hat?"
"Yes, ma'am!"

"You look like a real baseball player, buddy!"

"Mama, I am a baseball player."

He's also an airplane.

Tent building.

After a long and fun day of playing, this little girl was tired (despite the fact that she spent the entire day sleeping).

A lovely weekend!

A Weekend at Home

Let's start with breakfast.

Hmmmmmm.  What should we do today?

Oooh!  I know!  I know!  Let's play baseball!

And take sneaky pictures of the neighbor's tree through the window.

We can drag out lots of toys and not play with any of them (but dig in the dirt instead).

We can build.

And snuggle.

Sound like a plan?

Let's do it!

And that's exactly what we did!

Weekending: Chugging Along

Between two late evening rehearsals and being out of town for three days, Noah and I only got to see Blair once this week.  By Friday, we were more than tired of being cooped up in the house together and were looking at each other like this:

Fortunately, Friday was a beautiful day and allowed for some great playtime outside.
