A Little Trip::Let's go to the Zoo

Our last full day in Knoxville, we went to the zoo.  It was the kids' first trip (although, I'm pretty sure it meant more to Noah), and it was the perfect day for it!  Great weather, not too crowded, and the animals were willing to be seen.  My brother, Matthew, and his wife went with us, and I think it's safe to say that after two great outings with them that week, Noah has two new favorite people.

This next set of pictures are ones my daddy took (clearly, since I'm in most of them.)

All week, Noah asked if he could ride the giraffes when we got to the zoo, which of course, is not allowed.  I was sure, though, that seeing their exhibit would be his favorite part.  However, I think spending the day with this guy turned out to be what he loved most.

A Little Trip::Fun at Ijams

My sister-in-law didn't have to work the Tuesday we were in Knoxville, so the kids and I loaded up the van with her and my brother for an outing to Ijams.

We spent Fall Break in Knoxville with my parents.  Beautiful weather.  Lots of fun.
