Sprucing up for Spring

Well, at least the front door is.  It still looks like winter in the house.  I put up this plain grapevine wreath for the winter because I had no idea what to put on it that said "Winter" and not "Christmas."

Now that Spring is here, I decided it needed a little bit of color.  I made some bracelets last year for a craft show and had some leftover.  To make them, I took wooden craft sticks, soaked them in water, put them down into cups, and let them dry in a curve.  Using a glue gun, I took some scrap fabric and made rosettes, and once the wood was dry, I glued the flowers on to make corsages.

This morning I had the idea that the wood portion of the bracelet might stick down into the wreath and hold the flowers in place.

It worked.
